The BOMA Canada Board of Directors brings together experienced leaders from across Canada’s commercial real estate industry to provide governance and strategic direction for the national association. As a strategic Board — one focused on governance rather than operations — the Board serves three key purposes:

1. Direction: The Board defines and approves the association’s mission, priorities, and long-term goals, ensuring that BOMA Canada continues to serve its members and strengthen the commercial real estate industry across the country.
2. Protection: The Board oversees the organization’s risk environment, ensuring that material risks are identified and appropriately mitigated, so that BOMA Canada remains viable over the long term and continues to deliver strong value to its membership.
3. Accountability: The Board holds BOMA Canada’s CEO to account for progress against the organization’s multi-year strategic plan and annual business plans, while ensuring that the CEO provides strong leadership to the team, the membership, and the industry at large.
