The BOMA Canada Chair’s Council brings together the Chairs of BOMA Canada’s Local Associations from across the country, giving the national federation a forum in which its most senior national and local leaders can build a stronger network. Chaired by the BOMA Canada Chair, the Council serves three key purposes:

1. Consultation: The Chair’s Council ensures that the perspectives, priorities, and on-the-ground realities of the Local Associations are heard at the national level, and that BOMA Canada’s national initiatives are carried back to the local level — informing the association’s strategic direction and national programs.
2. Cohesion: The Council connects national strategy with local execution, helping the federation move as one — sharing intelligence across associations, coordinating priorities, and strengthening the relationships that hold the federation together.
3. Connection: The Council gives the Chairs of the Local Associations space for peer-to-peer exchange — comparing notes and learning from one another’s experience, with a view to strengthening the federation.
