BOMA BEST Expands Into China!

We are thrilled to announce that BOMA BEST is now available in China! Earlier this month, BOMA Canada Chair Darren Klassen and Director Myron Keehn travelled to Shanghai to participate in a formal launch event organized by our partners at BOMA China. Jamie Gray-Donald, Senior Vice President, Sustainability & EHS at QuadReal Property Group, joined in the ceremony as well.

“I am truly honored to be able to take part in the launch of BOMA BEST in China. This exciting day was a culmination of several years of hard work by our BOMA Canada team together with our amazing partners at BOMA China, led by their Executive Director Dominic Lau.” said Darren Klassen, Vice President, REMS, Colliers International Winnipeg.

At the launch ceremony, BOMA Canada and BOMA China also recognized and celebrated the first seventeen BOMA BEST Sustainability Professional designation recipients – a program which will be rolled out in other countries later this year.

Dominic Lau, Executive Director of BOMA China, stated that “BOMA China is both pleased and honoured to graduate the first group of BOMA BEST Sustainability Professionals (BBSP). This group of seventeen worked hard to achieve their designation, a strong complement to their five or more years of operational experience. We look forward to drawing on their knowledge and expertise as we expand BOMA BEST throughout China.”

The event was a huge success, and BOMA Canada thanks Dominic Lau for his leadership in driving BOMA BEST forward in China!
